About Us

R & R Insurance was founded by my father, Rusty Russ, in December of 1990. He led the agency until his retirement in May of 2023. After his retirement, my sister, Mary Pendergrass and I proudly took over leadership of the agency, and we continue to serve our community today.

Over the years, we've had the privilege of getting to know many local families as a trusted insurance agency in Shallotte and throughout Brunswick County. Being part of this community and building lasting relationships is one of the most rewarding aspects of what we do.
